Scraping the Bottom of the Barrel Records presents another gem from the London Sessions, recorded in the flat I shared with Patrick on the Cut in Waterloo, 1986 - 1987. This chronicles the difficulty of setting up the ghetto girl soundsystem upon my arrival in the U.K. Lyrics improvised on the spot, with real telephones ringing and an actual conversation with Mary Gee all taking place during the recording. I later realized that the lyrics are also a metaphor for my relationship with Patrick.
